Job summary

Greenly in Paris seeks a Climate Data Analyst Intern to join our Climate Delivery team for six months. You’ll work from day one on real client projects, under senior experts, estimating carbon emissions and improving data quality using our software and tools.

We value hands-on learners pursuing a Master’s in engineering or environmental data, with strong Excel and comfort with Python/SQL or BI tools, plus fluency in French and English. This is a full-time Paris-based internship.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering, environmental sciences, data, or related field.
• Knowledge of GHG accounting (GHG Protocol, LCA, SBTi, CSRD…).
• Detail-oriented problem solver; meticulous in datasets.
• Strong Excel skills (mandatory); Python/SQL/BI tools are a plus.
• Bilingual in French and English (C1/C1).

Responsibilities

• Contribute to end-to-end delivery of climate projects with Climate Strategy Experts.
• Support project managers with platform setup, analyses, benchmarks, and reduction actions.
• Perform data quality checks on GHG assessments and LCA projects.
• Help design templates and tools for client autonomy on quality checks.
• Consolidate and update mitigation plans on the platform.
• Own data collection, checks, and analysis for a portfolio of clients.
• Ensure transparency of calculation methods and client understanding.
• Provide feedback to Product team to improve processes and tools.
