Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Communications Officer to lead video and social media content production from France, with a focus on YouTube and LinkedIn. You will transform complex climate and technology topics into engaging stories, manage end-to-end production, and work with cross-functional teams across Europe.

The role is primarily remote, offering full-time employment with occasional travel across Europe for interviews, events, and site visits.

Qualifications

• Portfolio of social media video content showing the full production process (idea to publishing).
• Proficiency in Premiere Pro with audio editing, captions, and multi-format outputs.
• Confident filming and interviewing on location with clear sound.
• Strong storytelling instincts, pacing, and engaging thumbnails/titles.
• Excellent written and spoken English for technical content.
• Experience translating complex research into accessible digital content.
• Knowledge of social publishing, community management, and basic analytics.
• Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe for shoots.

Responsibilities

• Editorial planning and publishing in collaboration with the Head of Communications.
• Draft, adapt, and publish posts for YouTube and LinkedIn.
• Coordinate content reviews and external partnerships.
• Video production and editing from concept to completion.
• Ensure high-quality audio, captions, and graphics; collaborate with designers.
• Repurpose existing research and footage into shorter videos.
• Experiment with formats, hooks, and distribution strategies.
• Monitor viewing data and audience feedback to refine content.
• Support occasional paid social media campaigns within plans and budgets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate topics into accessible stories.
