Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a YouTube Video Editor based in France for a remote-first role. You will transform raw footage into polished videos for international brands, handling editing, motion graphics, sound design, and YouTube SEO.

Collaborate with clients and internal teams to maintain high production quality and adapt to varied projects. Flexible hours, full-time or part-time, in a global remote environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of professional video editing experience, preferably focused on YouTube content.
• Proficiency in at least one professional video editor (Premiere Pro, FCP, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve).
• Strong storytelling, pacing, and audience engagement skills.
• Knowledge of YouTube SEO strategies and platform policies.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong visual aesthetic.
• Strong written and verbal English communication; additional languages a plus.
• Ability to follow brand guidelines and maintain consistent visual style.
• Strong time-management and ability to prioritize multiple projects.
• Portfolio or showreel demonstrating video editing skills.

Responsibilities

• Edit raw footage into polished, engaging videos optimized for YouTube.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand objectives, branding, and audience expectations.
• Create custom graphics, animations, and visual elements that complement each client's brand identity.
• Source and integrate music, sound effects, and audio elements to enhance storytelling.
• Apply YouTube SEO best practices to improve content discoverability and search performance.
• Export and deliver final video files in the appropriate formats and specifications for each platform.
• Organize, manage, and back up video assets to maintain efficient workflows.
• Stay informed about YouTube policies, emerging video trends, and evolving industry best practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve editing techniques and streamline production processes.
