• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 4-5 years of QA/QC experience in industrial, energy, infrastructure or construction projects.
• 3 years of site inspection and quality management experience.
• Experience in EPC projects is a plus.
• Fluent English is mandatory; French language skills are a plus.

Bonatti S.p.A. is currently looking for a Civil Quality Inspector to join its EPC project “Centrale à moteurs Corse du Sud” in Ricanto, Ajaccio (Corsica, France).

The role will be responsible for supervising and performing Civil Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) activities on-site, ensuring that all civil works are executed in compliance with project specifications, approved procedures, applicable standards, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and client requirements throughout all phases of project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and audit QA/QC activities to ensure compliance with project quality systems, procedures, and client requirements.
• Review construction drawings, technical specifications, method statements, and procedures to verify proper implementation and compliance on-site.
• Conduct pre-inspections of installed materials and civil works to ensure conformity with approved drawings, standards, and project specifications.
• Perform inspections and tests in accordance with approved Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
• Monitor and inspect civil construction activities, including foundations, concrete works, underground networks, structural installations, roads, drainage systems, and related infrastructure works.
• Verify that all works are executed in accordance with contractual requirements, technical specifications, applicable codes, and project standards.
• Interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation to confirm the correct execution of works.
• Prepare, maintain, and submit Quality Control reports, inspection records, and project quality documentation.
• Support the development and implementation of QA/QC procedures in coordination with the Construction QA/QC Manager.
• Identify non-conformities, monitor corrective actions, and ensure their timely closure.
• Coordinate with construction teams, subcontractors, and Client representatives during inspections, testing activities, and quality verification processes.
• Ensure full compliance with applicable Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) requirements.
• Monitor construction progress and promptly report quality-related issues that may impact project schedules or project objectives.
• Maintain continuous site surveillance to ensure adherence to approved quality standards, procedures, and HSEQ requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
• Minimum 4-5 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control within industrial, energy, infrastructure, or construction projects.
• At least 3 years of experience in construction quality management and site inspection activities.
• Previous experience in EPC projects will be considered a strong advantage.
• Good knowledge of quality control procedures, inspection processes, and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
• Familiarity with international construction standards, codes, and specifications.
• Fluent English is mandatory; French language skills will be considered a plus.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and environmental compliance.
