Qualifications

• Technical Diploma in Electrical, Automotive, Electromechanical, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 4 years of experience as Auto Electrician on heavy construction equipment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical troubleshooting and diagnostics on construction machinery.
• Experience with Komatsu, Volvo, Caterpillar, and Liebherr brands.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Commitment to safety and operational excellence.

Bonatti S.p.A. is currently looking for an Auto Electrician to join its EPC project “Centrale à moteurs Corse du Sud” in Ricanto, Ajaccio (Corsica, France).

The Auto Electrician will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, maintenance, and electrical efficiency of heavy construction equipment and project machinery. The role involves diagnosing and repairing electrical faults, carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance activities, and supporting the continuous operational availability of the fleet while complying with Company procedures and HSE standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical maintenance, servicing, and repair activities on Company-owned heavy equipment and machinery.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults using appropriate testing and diagnostic tools.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance to maximize equipment availability and performance.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform emergency repairs when required.
• Conduct inspections and monitoring activities, preparing maintenance and intervention reports.
• Accurately record maintenance activities and related working times.
• Collaborate with the Workshop Supervisor and maintenance team to ensure efficient equipment operations.
• Ensure compliance with Company procedures, quality standards, and health, safety, and environmental requirements.

Requirements

• Technical Diploma in Electrical, Automotive, Electromechanical, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 4 years of experience as an Auto Electrician working with heavy construction equipment, preferably in large-scale or remote projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical troubleshooting and diagnostics on construction machinery.
• Proven experience with heavy equipment brands such as Komatsu, Volvo, Caterpillar, and Liebherr.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Strong commitment to safety standards and operational excellence.
