Job summary

Wiremind in Paris is seeking a Senior Engineering Leader to own Software Engineering and IT & Security, unifying multiple product teams under one org. You will manage people, delivery, budget and ways of working, while CTO Charles maintains the technical vision.

You will not code day to day, but you will read code, challenge architecture and mentor principal engineers to raise the technical bar. With 12+ years in software, 5+ years leading managers, and a track record building scalable processes

Qualifications

• You have 12+ years in software engineering and 5+ years managing managers across multiple products or business units.
• You have built processes for growing engineering orgs: delivery, reviews, ladders, hiring, budget, and roadmaps.
• You led adoption of AI coding agents in an engineering team with measurable impact.
• You have owned an infrastructure or engineering budget and reported to an executive committee.
• You stay technical: read code, discuss architecture with principal engineers, and discern good design.
• Bonus: experience with B2B SaaS, revenue management, transportation or ticketing.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of Software Engineering and IT & Security teams: people, ways of working, delivery and budget.
• Report to the CTO; Heads of Engineering and IT lead report to you; align product strategy with technical execution.
• Read code, challenge architecture, and coach principal engineers to raise the technical bar.
• Lead AI adoption across engineering and non-tech teams to boost productivity and efficiency.
• Build scalable processes, leadership paths, and a clear hiring and budget governance framework.
