Job summary

papernest seeks an experienced Chief Operations Officer to lead the Operations Business Unit across France, Spain and Italy, owning P&L and delivering scale and profitability. You will report to the Executive Committee and partner with founders to drive operational excellence, cross-functional strategy, and multi-country execution.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in senior operations, a hands-on, field-oriented leadership style, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

Minimum 10+ years of professional experience in operations leadership.
Proven track record of managing, scaling, and unifying multi-level operational teams.
Experience with multi-country operations (France, Spain, Italy) is a plus.
Fluency in English; French and Spanish are a plus.

Responsibilities

Oversee Operations Business Unit across France, Spain and Italy.
Report to Executive Committee and own operational performance and financial results.
Define Operations P&L strategy and drive execution to hit targets.
Build and execute project roadmap and foster continuous innovation.
Ensure collaboration across departments and other Business Units to achieve goals.
Oversee global communications within the Business Unit for clarity and consistency.
Grow and unify a multi-country managerial line across regions.
Lead Regional Operations, Customer Experience, Site Direction & Production, and Sales Enablement.
