Shine is seeking a VP of Legal & Privacy to transform the legal department into a commercial unit, accelerating product delivery and revenue.
Reporting to the Chief Legal and Compliance Officer, you will lead a distributed team of 8, oversee European expansion, governance, IP, and regulatory compliance, while embedding AI to streamline workflows.
You'll partner with Product, Tech, and Sales to balance risk with growth in a fast-growing fintech within the Shine-Cegid group.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of legal experience with senior leadership roles.
- Proven ability to run a legal dept like a business unit.
- Experience managing distributed international teams.
- Deep knowledge of European financial regulations (PSD2/PSD3, E-money) and GDPR.
- Strong negotiation and M&A / legal structuring skills.
- Proactive risk management with data-driven reporting.
Responsabilités
- Lead the Legal & Privacy function as a strategic business unit.
- Define OKRs/KPIs and manage the department budget.
- Advise CEO and leadership with business-first legal insights.
- Oversee external counsel and legal spend.
- Drive AI-enabled legal processes and tech adoption.
- Govern corporate entities and M&A / restructurings.
- Support cross-functional teams (Product, Sales, Tech).
