vinciconstructionsi recherche un responsable laboratoire et terrassement expérimenté pour soutenir un projet international majeur. Basé dans un environnement éloigné, vous dirigerez les activités de terrassement et les essais des sols et des agrégats, en garantissant sécurité et qualité, avec une interaction régulière avec les équipes de site et les parties prenantes.

Le candidat idéal possède au moins 5 ans d'expérience en essais de sols et béton, maîtrise des exigences ISO 17025 et anglais

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 ans d'expérience dans les essais en laboratoire et sur le terrain des sols, agrégats et béton.
• Expérience préalable de gestion d'un laboratoire de matériaux de construction.
• Connaissance des exigences ISO/IEC 17025; connaissance des normes australiennes NSW RMS serait un avantage.
• Expérience dans la préparation et la communication des résultats d'essais de laboratoire certifiés.
• Forte capacité de planification, de hiérarchisation et d'organisation.
• Connaissance des exigences WHS et de la gestion des risques.
• Bonne maîtrise de l'anglais est essentielle.
• Résilient, adaptable et capable de travailler dans des environnements éloignés et exigeants.

Responsabilités

• Diriger et superviser les travaux d'excavation et de terrassement à travers le projet.
• Gérer des opérations d'envergure incluant préparation de site, fouilles, coupe et remblai, terrassement et compactage.
• Coordonner les activités de construction avec l'ingénierie, levé, qualité, environnement, logistique et interfaces.
• Superviser les entrepreneurs et les ressources pour atteindre sécurité, qualité, productivité et calendrier.
• Suivre l'avancement, utilisation des équipements et performances, proposer des actions correctives.
• Assurer la conformité avec les recommandations géotechniques, les spécifications et les normes de qualité et d'environnement.
• Gérer les interfaces du projet.
• Identifier et atténuer les risques, contribuer à la planification et rendre compte régulièrement.

To support the successful delivery of a major international construction project in a challenging environment, we are looking for an experienced

This position will be based abroad in a demanding and remote environment, with regular interaction with site teams and project stakeholders.

Reporting to the Construction Manager, your main responsibilities will include :

• Lead and oversee earthworks activities across the Project, ensuring safe, efficient and timely execution.
• Manage large-scale earthworks operations including site preparation, excavation, cut & fill, embankment construction, grading and compaction works.
• Coordinate construction activities with engineering, survey, quality, environmental, logistics and interface teams.
• Supervise contractors, subcontractors and construction resources to achieve safety, quality, productivity and schedule objectives.
• Monitor construction progress, equipment utilisation, production performance and resource requirements, implementing corrective actions when required.
• Ensure compliance with geotechnical recommendations, engineering specifications, quality standards, environmental requirements and approved construction methodologies.
• Manage project interfaces
• Identify and mitigate construction risks, contribute to planning and forecasting activities, and provide regular reporting on project performance and progress.

Profil

• Minimum 5 years of experience in laboratory and field testing of soils, aggregates and concrete.
• Previous experience managing a construction materials laboratory.
• Strong team leadership and people management skills.
• Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 requirements; knowledge of Australian and NSW RMS standards would be an advantage.
• Experience preparing and reporting certified laboratory test results.
• Strong planning, prioritisation and organisational abilities.
• Knowledge of WHS compliance and risk management requirements.
• Experience working with laboratory testing equipment and associated software tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Resilient, adaptable and capable of working in remote and demanding environments.
• Good command of English is essential.
