Job summary

Atrium Health Pineville is seeking a CVOR Nurse Manager to lead the Cardiovascular Operating Room Service Line. You will guide a high-performing surgical team and collaborate with nationally recognized surgeons to ensure outstanding outcomes and operational efficiency across two brand-new ORs opened in 2024.

Ideal candidates bring CVOR scrub and circulating experience plus prior management experience. Join a leadership team focused on innovation, collaboration, and excellence in a hospital

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing required.
• Current RN licensure in appropriate state.
• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
• Enrollment in MSN program within 1 year of hire/transfer date and graduation of MSN program required within 5 years of hire.
• If undergraduate degree is BSN, a Master’s Degree from a health-related program or MBA is acceptable.
• Previous management experience preferred.
• BLS required per policy guidelines.
• Certification required within 1 year of eligibility for certification exam.

Responsibilities

• Guides a high-performing surgical team of RNs and Surgical Technologists.
• Partners with cardiothoracic and vascular surgeons to support outcomes and efficiency.
• Leads two new ORs built in 2024 with advanced technology including XI robot.
• Supports recruitment, onboarding, and professional development of staff.
• Participates in performance improvement activities to improve nursing care and cost effectiveness.
