Job summary

Cainiao Group is seeking an overseas payroll specialist to review policies, manage compensation, and ensure accurate tax filings and social security contributions across countries. You will verify data, perform analyses, and support audits while coordinating with overseas HR and payroll vendors.

The role requires strong English and French communication, excellent analytical skills, and a high sense of responsibility in a multinational context.

Qualifications

• Prior payroll or compensation operations experience in a multinational environment.
• Proficient command of English and French — strong listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, with the ability to work as a primary communication language in a cross-cultural setting.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving ability, with high attention to detail and a strong sense of data compliance.
• Good professional ethics, strong team spirit, and a high sense of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Review salary and payroll-related policies across operating countries, and continuously optimize overseas payroll calculation processes.
• Own overseas employee compensation management, ensuring salaries, individual income tax filings, and social security contributions are processed accurately and on time.
• Responsible for overseas payroll data verification, compensation data analysis and reporting, payroll audits, and annual statutory declarations.
• Manage day-to-day communication with and performance oversight of overseas HR and payroll vendors.
• Respond to employee inquiries on compensation and benefits matters, and support the overseas HR team in driving compensation-related projects forward.
• Take on other overseas compensation and payroll duties as assigned.
