ixolabs.ai is seeking a contractor to review a supplied CAD assembly, identify geometry, relationships and design details relevant to a task, and create high-quality questions and reference answers.

You will write precise technical questions, ensure unambiguous wording, and document assumptions, checks and rationale for each material judgment. Remote work is available; pay is USD 45–85 per hour, with assignments scheduled by agreement.

Qualifications

• Mechanical, aerospace or industrial-design expertise with practical interpretation of multi-part assemblies, drawings and CAD files.
• Direct experience with CAD tools like FreeCAD is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Ability to write precise technical questions, answers and assessment material.

Work you will do

• Inspect the supplied CAD assembly and identify the geometry, relationships and design details relevant to a task.
• Create questions that require genuine spatial and engineering understanding, then provide accurate reference answers.
• Check that the question is unambiguous and supported by the model, recording any limitation in the available assembly information.

Preferred background

• Mechanical, aerospace or industrial-design expertise, with practical interpretation of multi-part assemblies, drawings and CAD files.
• Write precise technical questions, answers and assessment material; use FreeCAD or another suitable CAD platform. Direct FreeCAD experience helps but is not mandatory.

Deliverables

Submit the completed technical artifact or assessment with its supporting evidence, explicit assumptions, reproducible checks where applicable, and concise reasons for each material judgment. Address review findings within the agreed scope.

Location and schedule

Remote assignments are scheduled by agreement, with no guaranteed weekly volume. IXO confirms the applicable timing before work.

Pay and working terms

$45 • $85/hr USD. The agreed hourly rate, scope, schedule and acceptance criteria are confirmed before work starts. Applying does not guarantee an assignment.
