Job summary

Snap Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Brain-Computer Interface team in our Paris office. You will work on integrating sensor data acquisition and ML inference for wearable hardware, collaborating with hardware, software and ML teams worldwide.

The role focuses on real-time performance, code quality and scalable architectures for Specs and related devices. Strong C++ skills and English fluency are required, with experience in large codebases and git workflows.

Qualifications

• BSc in Computer Science, or equivalent field.
• At least 2 years of experience in C++ software development.
• Fluency in English.
• Experience with version control (git).

Responsibilities

• Integrate systems for sensor data acquisition and ML inference with robust real-time performance.
• Work closely with embedded systems and ML teams to enable complex software to run efficiently on wearable hardware and cloud backends.
• Design and implement tools for analyzing performance and quality of our algorithms.
• Write clean, well designed and tested code.
• Communicate technical tradeoffs clearly through design docs and reviews.
