Job summary

Snap Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer for our Brain-Computer Interface team in Paris. You will join a small, cross-disciplinary group building software for wearable devices, with a focus on real-time data acquisition and ML inference.

Based in our Paris office (9th arrondissement), you will collaborate with hardware, ML, and software teams worldwide. The role requires strong C++ skills, CS fundamentals, and English fluency, with rigorous code reviews and cross-functional communication.

Qualifications

• BSc in Computer Science, or equivalent field.
• At least 2 years of experience in C++ software development.
• Fluency in English.
• Experience with version control (git).

Responsibilities

• Integrate systems for sensor data acquisition and ML inference with robust real-time performance.
• Work closely with embedded systems and ML teams to enable complex software to run efficiently on wearable hardware and cloud backends.
• Design and implement tools for analyzing performance and quality of our algorithms.
• Write clean, well designed and tested code.
• Communicate technical tradeoffs clearly through design docs and reviews.
