EDP is seeking a Project Development Manager to coordinate land negotiations, permitting, and due diligence for renewable energy projects. You will collaborate with legal, commercial teams, authorities, landowners, and communities to secure rights and ensure timely regulatory approvals.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years in business development or project support, preferably in renewables, with strong planning, analysis, and travel willingness. Hybrid work model offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in business development, project development, or project support, ideally including renewable energy.
• Solid understanding of market analysis, project planning, and deal structuring fundamentals.
• Good knowledge of MS Project, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Google Earth.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités

• Manage and lead negotiations of land lease or purchase agreements, securing land rights in collaboration with legal and commercial teams.
• Represent the company with public authorities, TSOs, landowners, and local communities to promote project acceptance and visibility.
• Coordinate permitting processes and contribute to regulatory documentation to ensure compliance.
• Ensure timely completion of the administrative authorization process.
• Assist in due diligence for project acquisitions (M&A), preparing documentation and providing analytical support.
• Support budget monitoring, risk management, and business planning across the development cycle.
• Monitor project profitability along the process.
• Communicate effectively across teams and external partners to ensure alignment and smooth execution.
• Contribute to continuous learning and application of best practices, tools, and emerging technologies

What you will do:

• Manage and lead negotiations of land lease or purchase agreements, securing land rights in collaboration with legal and commercial teams.
• Represent the company with public authorities, TSOs, landowners, and local communities to promote project acceptance and visibility.
• Coordinate permitting processes and contribute to the preparation and submission of regulatory documentation to ensure compliance.
• Ensure on a timely basis of the administrative authorization process
• Assist in due diligence processes for project acquisitions (M&A), preparing documentation and providing analytical support.
• Support budget monitoring, risk management, and business planning activities across the development cycle up to authorization of the project.
• Monitor project profitability along the process.
• Communicate effectively across teams and external partners to ensure alignment, knowledge sharing, and smooth project execution.
• Contribute to continuous learning and application of best practices, tools, and emerging technologies

What are we looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Preferably 3-5 years of relevant experience in business development, project development, or project support, ideally including at least 2 years in renewable energy.
• Solid understanding of market analysis, project planning, and deal structuring fundamentals.
• Good knowledge of MS Project, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Google Earth.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Highly independent, proactive, and adaptable, with the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
• Willingness to travel and engage with stakeholders on-site as required.
• Valid driver's license
