EDP is seeking an experienced accountant in Paris to manage general accounting activities, record transactions, and support closing processes. The role requires fluency in French and English, IFRS knowledge, and strong Excel skills, with 3+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting roles.
• Strong knowledge of French accounting principles and IFRS.
• Good understanding of basic French tax requirements.
• Knowledge of Excel.
• Fluent French and English (written and spoken). Spanish or Portuguese are a plus.
• High accuracy, reliability, and independence in managing tasks.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Perform account reconciliations, including bank reconciliations and monthly balance reviews.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
• Support the preparation of statutory financial statements and notes to the accounts.
• Support tax filings and administrative deadlines.
• Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Contribute to process optimization and continuous improvement within the accounting function.
