Job summary

Euro London Appointments Ltd is seeking a Business Development Manager for the Private Equity practice in Paris. You will work directly with Partners and international BD teams to drive pitches, client development and market positioning in France and internationally.

The role welcomes candidates from law firms, private banking, investment banking, financial services and consulting. Knowledge of Private Equity is essential and fluency in French and English is required.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of the Private Equity sector.

Business Development Manager – Private Equity

Paris | Up to €86,000 + bonus | Hybrid working

We are recruiting a Business Development Manager for the Private Equity practice of a leading international law firm in Paris. Working directly with Partners and international BD teams, you will drive pitches, client development and market positioning in France and internationally.

We welcome candidates from law firms, private banking, investment banking, financial services and consulting. Knowledge of Private Equity is essential.

Your responsibilities

• Lead pitches, proposals and client presentations.
• Develop client plans and identify cross-selling opportunities.
• Provide Private Equity market intelligence and competitor analysis.
• Support Partners’ BD initiatives and track opportunities and pipeline activity.
• Coordinate with international BD, Marketing and Communications teams.
• Contribute to legal directory submissions and practice visibility.

Your profile

• Proven experience in business development, client development or marketing within one of the sectors above.
• Strong understanding of the Private Equity sector.
• Hands-on experience in pitches, BD planning and client or marketing initiatives.
• Confidence working with senior stakeholders and managing projects across international teams.
• Fluent French and English.

A strategic role with direct Partner exposure, international collaboration and the opportunity to shape the development of an established Private Equity practice.

Salary and benefits

• Up to €86,000 base salary, depending on experience, plus an annual performance bonus and profit-sharing scheme.
• 25 days’ annual leave + 12 RTT days, a birthday day off and two additional days off over Christmas.

• Two remote working days per week.
