Job summary

ACL Partners in Paris is seeking a high-calibre Private Equity Associate to join its investment team. You will work on the full investment lifecycle, supporting senior professionals on transactions and portfolio companies.

You will build and analyse financial models, conduct company and market analysis, coordinate due diligence, and prepare investment memos and committee materials while contributing to value-creation initiatives across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of investment banking experience (M&A preferred).
• Strong financial modelling, valuation and analytical skills.
• Solid transaction execution experience, with buyout exposure a plus.
• Native-level French and fluent English mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Support buyout transactions from screening to execution and exit.

Our client, a well-established mid-cap private equity fund based in Paris, is looking for a high-calibre Associate to join its growing investment team. The role offers exposure to the full investment lifecycle, working closely with senior investment professionals on transactions and portfolio companies.

The Role

• Support buyout transactions across the full investment lifecycle, from initial screening through to execution and exit
• Build and analyse financial models, valuations and investment cases
• Conduct company and market analysis to assess key business and investment drivers
• Coordinate commercial, financial and legal due diligence workstreams
• Prepare investment memos, investment committee materials and management presentations
• Participate in management meetings and transaction discussions alongside senior team members
• Support portfolio companies on strategic and value-creation initiatives

Your Profile

• 2–4 years of Investment Banking experience, ideally within an M&A team
• Excellent financial modelling, valuation and analytical skills
• Solid transaction execution experience, with exposure to buyout transactions an advantage
• Strong commercial awareness and analytical mindset
• Entrepreneurial approach, strong sense of ownership and exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a demanding team environment
• Native-level French and fluency in English are mandatory
