Overview

Lead BMS Engineer - Client Side

Clear are working with a fast-growing data centre business that is expanding its engineering team to support the growth of its European portfolio.

This role is client-side and offers the chance to work on the optimization, reliability and resilience of BMS systems across mission-critical sites. It’s a unique opportunity to be part of a high-growth industry, working remotely while still having a direct impact on cutting-edge data centre operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and optimize Building Management Systems (BMS) across data centre facilities.
• Ensure uptime, system reliability and compliance in a mission-critical environment.
• Manage and coordinate external vendors, integrators and service providers.
• Lead troubleshooting, diagnostics and system improvements.
• Contribute to energy efficiency and sustainability goals.
• Support BMS upgrades, modifications and future integration projects.

Experience Required

• Proven track record working with BMS platforms (e.g., Trend, Schneider, Siemens, Johnson Controls, Honeywell, etc.)
• Background in mission-critical environments (data centres, pharma, hospitals, or similar)
• Strong technical understanding of HVAC, electrical systems and critical facilities
• Experience working client-side or in an operational role highly desirable.
• Based in France, fluent in English and French.
