Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government is seeking an Equipment Operator I to safely operate equipment and support daily bridge maintenance, repairs, and traffic light operations.

The role includes safe operation of assigned equipment, routine/d preventive maintenance, required inspections and documentation, and assistance with traffic/caution light operations as needed. The incumbent will participate in on-call and emergency response activities as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED certificate required.
• Valid Louisiana driver's license

Responsabilités

• Operate assigned equipment safely and efficiently, including backhoes, forklifts, bobcats, riding mowers, and other parish gear.
• Perform routine and preventive bridge maintenance, inspections, and documentation.
• Assist with traffic and caution light operations and seasonal emergency response activities as needed.
• Complete work orders, PM sheets, and daily reports accurately and timely.
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of vehicles, equipment, and work areas.
