Job Overview

We are looking for someone who breathes hospitality operations and is energized by the opportunity to maximize, motivate, and inspire a team to deliver an amazing guest experience at Sonder.

Responsibilities

• Assemble the breakfast buffet before mealtime and disassemble it thereafter.
• Ensure the breakfast buffet remains well‑stocked at all times.
• Receive and prepare beverage orders and serve them to guests.
• Resolve customers' queries and complaints.
• Clean and sanitize tables and countertops after each meal service.
• Ensure when needed other areas of the property are clean and tidy.
• Travel to multiple Sonder properties throughout the local market, as required.

Qualifications

• Guest‑centric and positive mindset.
• Previous experience in the hospitality industry, preferably with a similar role.
• Very good knowledge of food safety guidelines.
• Organized, hardworking, and detail‑oriented.
• Comfort with ambiguity and rapidly shifting priorities.
• Thrives in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing startup environment.
• Ability to work effectively both in a team environment and independently.
• Comfort in independent problem solving with the humility to ask for help when needed.
• Unintimidated by using mobile apps while in the field for team collaboration and communication.
• Open to working during the weekends.
• Ability to lift/carry items and stand/walk for extended periods of time.
• Previous experience working in hospitality, service, and/or customer experience.
