Astemo France S.A.S. is seeking a Technical Lead for Vehicle Brake Control Functions to join our Europe R&D team. You will lead development, calibration, and release of brake control functions (BCU, ESC) across multiple sites, coordinating with China and leading a team of system engineers in Europe.

The role offers exposure to ASPICE‑aligned development, Model‑Based Design, and next‑gen braking concepts, with travel to winter test campaigns and a focus on engineering excellence.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or higher in Mechatronics, Control Systems, Embedded Software, Vehicle Dynamics or related discipline.
• Proven expertise in vehicle brake control functions, including experience with at least two ESC functions.
• Hands‑on experience owning development, calibration, and release of at least two ESC functions through complete vehicle programs.

Responsabilités

• Lead development, tuning, and continuous improvement of brake control functions (BCU, ESC).
• Define system requirements, specifications, and architectures with traceability and justification.
• Contribute to next‑gen braking concepts enabled by EHB, EMB, and brake‑by‑wire tech.
• Provide technical leadership and arbitration on control strategy and integration decisions.
• Lead and mentor a team of system engineers across Europe; collaborate with teams in China.
