Brookshire Grocery Company is seeking a Bakery Decorator to creatively plan and decorate cakes and other baked goods, assist with day-to-day bakery operations, and promote excellent customer service. The role requires attention to color, texture, aroma and taste while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities include decorating cakes, matching icing colors, selecting materials, and collaborating with team members to plan production around seasonal promotions and community

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and six or more months of related experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prepare, ice, and decorate cakes and baked goods for display or requests.
• Trace and copy drawings onto cakes using templates or by hand sketches.
• Identify, match, and blend icing colors with good color judgement.
• Select decorating materials and tools and work under time pressure.
• Maintain equipment and ensure safety as per procedures.
• Assist with production scheduling and stay current with trends.
