Job summary

amo is building a backend-centric platform in Paris, and we’re looking for versatile engineers to join as early members of the Backend team. In the initial months you’ll work closely with teammates, gradually owning central components and features.

You’ll contribute to server-side and shared Rust components across iOS and Android, collaborate with mobile engineers, and help shape scalable systems for high traffic and data synchronization. We value deep domain expertise and proactive ownership.

Qualifications

• Experience writing Rust (open-source or professional).
• Experience with distributed systems in production.
• Comfortable contributing to backend and cross-platform components.

Responsibilities

• Own central backend components and features as part of the early team.
• Collaborate with iOS/Android engineers on a unified codebase.
• Monitor performance, triage issues, and drive continuous improvement.
