Job summary

amo is building a backend team in Paris to own core components and scalable systems. You’ll work with Rust and a shared Rust component across iOS and Android, focusing on networking and data synchronization. You’ll collaborate to design features and improve the platform with ownership of your scope.

We require production Rust experience and distributed systems know-how. We support relocation to Paris with visa help, Airbnb for 1 month, and French language support.

Qualifications

• Rust production experience or strong systems-language background.
• Hands-on experience with distributed systems in production (Kafka, Redpanda, ScyllaDB, Cassandra).
• Strong instincts about consumer social products and platform reliability.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve backend components handling high traffic and data scale.
• Collaborate on cross-platform networking and a shared Rust component for iOS/Android.
