Job summary

Avalore is seeking a full stack developer to support a backend development team focused on middleware and backend services for our US Government client.

The role requires an active security clearance with polygraph, a CS degree, and 3+ years with Solr/Elasticsearch, plus 5+ years of Java backend development. Experience with Hadoop/Spark ecosystems and AWS is preferred, along with JIRA and GitHub usage.

Qualifications

• Active security clearance with polygraph.
• College degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical degree.
• 3+ years of Solr/Elasticsearch experience, including schema updates and Lucene queries.

Responsibilities

• Update Solr/Elasticsearch schemas.
• Submit Lucene queries and optimize them.
• Tune Solr/Elasticsearch for performance and query optimization.
