emagine is seeking an experienced Backend Software Engineer to design, build, test, and deploy scalable backend applications in a cloud-enabled environment, collaborating with a global team. You will work with .NET/C#, Java, Node.js or Python, own authentication/security, databases, microservices, Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD, and AI-driven components, while contributing to architecture and code quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in a modern programming language (e.g. .NET/C#, Java, Node.js, Python).
• Solid grasp of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• Strong understanding of authentication/authorization (Azure AD/Entra ID, OAuth2/OIDC) and secure application design.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (MSSQL, Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, Cosmos DB).
• Expert-level Microsoft Azure and cloud platform experience, with microservices architecture.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Actions/workflows.
• Fluent English

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain robust, scalable, high-performance software applications using cloud components.
• Write clean, efficient, well-documented code following best practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and engineers to define, design, and ship new features.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and code reviews, and drive automation and process improvements.

• Strong proficiency in a modern programming language (e.g. .NET/C#, Java, Node.js, Python)
• Solid grasp of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles
• Strong understanding of authentication/authorization (Azure AD/Entra ID, OAuth2/OIDC) and secure application design
