Job summary

Airbus Operations SAS in Toulouse seeks a Verification & Validation Electronic Engineer (m/f) to join the Avionics & Simulation Products team. You will define and execute IVV strategies for flight control computers and avionics equipment, developing test benches and environments to ensure compliance with aerospace standards.

The role requires at least 5 years in avionics IVV, strong skills in Python, LabVIEW, C++, and experience with ARINC 429, AFDX or MIL-STD-1553.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional experience in integration, verification, and validation of avionics systems/equipment.
• Academic background in Engineering, Electronics, Embedded Systems, Aeronautics, or related field.
• Technical proficiency in V&V methods (boards, FPGAs, equipment) and in Python, LabVIEW, C++.

Responsibilities

• Define, lead, and execute the IVV strategy for flight control computers and avionics equipment.
• Design, develop, and maintain verification means and test environments (test benches, simulators).
• Write procedures, execute tests (boards and FPGAs), analyze anomalies with development teams.
• Ensure requirement traceability and compliance with DO-178C, DO-254, ARP4754A.
