You will manage aviation disputes, advise carriers and insurers on liability and regulatory issues, and contribute to high-profile investigations and cross-border matters.

The role requires qualified Avocat in France, strong drafting and advocacy skills, and fluent French and English.

Qualifications

• Qualified Avocat admitted to practice in France.
• Experience in litigation and dispute resolution, ideally within aviation, transport or insurance.
• Excellent drafting, advocacy and analytical skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and a client-focused approach.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work under pressure.
• Confident, professional communication with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
• Fluency in French and strong English language skills.
• Proactive business development and relationship management.
• Sound judgement and attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Manage a caseload of aviation disputes and related litigation matters.
• Advise airlines, other aviation sector clients on liability, regulatory and operational issues, including 261 claims.
• Draft legal advice, pleadings, witness statements and court submissions.
• Attend client meetings, mediations, hearings and court proceedings as required.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and industry contacts.
• Support business development initiatives, including preparing articles, presentations and client training.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues across Clyde & Co's international aviation and insurance practices.
