Clyde & Co is seeking a skilled lawyer to manage coverage files and litigation across Quebec, Canada, and the United States for insurer clients primarily in London. The role involves advising on various policies and possibly pleading certain cases in court.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in private practice or in-house, bilingual in French and English, with strong drafting and analytical abilities. Hybrid work options and broad professional development benefits are offered.

• Fluent bilingualism in French and English, written and spoken.

Responsabilités

• Represent London-based insurer clients in North American litigation.
• Review and analyze litigation matters and report risks and strategy to insurers.
• Recommend and appoint defence lawyers under guidance of litigation management lawyer.
• Provide clear directives to defence lawyers and coordinate with clients.
• Maintain relations with insurers and participate in mediations.
• Review coverage under various policies to advise insurers.
