Airbus Operations SAS in Toulouse, France seeks an Autoflight system Certification and Safety Engineer (m/f) to join the AutoFlight Certification & Safety team. You will contribute to certification, airworthiness, and safety analyses across Airbus programs, interfacing with Airworthiness Authorities as needed.

Requirements include 5+ years in system safety/certification or flight controls, with strong communication and ability to coordinate diverse teams in English and French.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years experience in system safety, system certification and qualification, flight controls or auto flight system development.
• Experience in system architecture and integration is desirable.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.
• Autonomy and ability to motivate diverse teams.
• Proficiency in English and French negotiation.

Responsabilités

• Certify AutoFlight modifications, define Certification Plans, and negotiate with airworthiness authorities.
• Coordinate stakeholders (designers, test centers, pilots) for MOC issuance.
• Interface with Airworthiness Authorities during Airworthiness activities.
• Lead reporting and escalation of potential safety issues with designers for preventive actions.
• Lead interface with authorities during Airworthiness Review Meetings.
• Contribute to safety analyses (FHA, SSA, CMA, MMEL) with the safety organization.
