Airbus Operations SAS in Toulouse, France seeks a Certification Specialist (m/f) to join our Engineering department. You will contribute to certification plans, liaise with airworthiness authorities, and ensure safety and compliance of flight control systems across aircraft programs.

The role requires strong system safety and airworthiness experience, knowledge of system architecture and integration, and excellent communication to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and authorities.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in system safety and certification processes.
• Knowledge of system architecture, integration, and engineering.
• Strong communication and influencing skills with authorities and teams.
• High degree of autonomy and ability to work in multidisciplinary contexts.
• English negotiation level.

Responsabilités

• Define and negotiate Certification Plans with airworthiness authorities to certify systems modifications.
• Coordinate stakeholders (designers, suppliers, test centers, pilots) to ensure timely issuance of means of compliance.
• Manage the interface with Airworthiness Authorities throughout the certification process.
• Lead continuous airworthiness assessments, investigating potential safety issues and preventive/corrective actions.
• Contribute to system safety analyses, including Functional Hazard Analysis and System Safety Assessment.
