Airbus Operations SAS in Toulouse, France, is seeking a Certification Specialist to join the Engineering department. You will work within the Flight Controls team on certification and airworthiness activities to ensure safety and compliance of aircraft programs.

The role involves defining and negotiating Certification Plans with airworthiness authorities, coordinating design, suppliers, test centers and pilots, and leading interfaces throughout the certification process.

Qualifications

• Significant professional experience in system safety, system certification and qualification, or auto flight system development.

Responsabilités

• Define and negotiate Certification Plans with airworthiness authorities to certify systems modifications.
• Coordinate various stakeholders (designers, suppliers, test centers, pilots) to ensure timely issuance of means of compliance.
• Manage the interface with Airworthiness Authorities throughout the certification process.
• Lead continuous airworthiness assessments, investigating potential safety issues and elaborating preventive and corrective actions.
• Contribute to system safety analyses, including Functional Hazard Analysis and System Safety Assessment.
