Goodwill Industries of Greater Grand Rapids, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in France to help lead hourly staff, ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming store, and deliver top-notch customer service.

You will drive leadership, coaching, merchandising, and achievement of sales targets while upholding Goodwill values and store policies. This role reports to the Store Manager and involves active participation in staff development.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Solid mathematical skills.
• Some managerial and retail sales experience preferred.
• Must have valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.

Responsabilités

• Oversee hourly personnel in collaboration with the Store Manager, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming store.
• Demonstrate professional leadership and effective decision-making for staff.
• Provide excellent customer service, greeting donors and customers promptly.
• Communicate customer and donor concerns to the store manager.
• Support staff training and cross-training opportunities.
• Assist in meeting sales and production goals.
• Maintain merchandising standards and pricing guidelines.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reports on time.
• Manage cash handling and banking procedures, adhering to security.
• Ensure store hours, safety, and security compliance.
• Fulfill frontline staff duties and uphold Goodwill safety practices.
