J.Crew Group (JCG) is seeking an Assistant Manager to join the leadership team. You’ll help drive profitability through genuine customer connections, brand loyalty, and strong community engagement, while providing immediate coaching to the sales team to maximize performance.

You will collaborate with the Store Director and Associate Store Manager to adapt strategies for business success and ensure smooth operational support as needed.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of retail management experience.
• Support brand, customers and teams with enthusiasm.
• Stay current with fashion trends and industry developments.
• Collaborate in a team, show flexibility and courtesy.
• Innovate and solve problems in uncertain situations.
• Scheduling flexibility, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Able to bend, reach, stretch and lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsabilités

• Support Store Director & Associate Store Manager to impact profitability.
• Own division of responsibility (Visual Merchandising, Operations, HR, Service & Selling).
• Manage store operations, systems, and technology with accountability.
• Assist with recruiting, training and development as needed.
• Partner to foster a collaborative working environment for associates.
• Ensure the team exceeds goals and delivers best-in-class service.
• Lead product knowledge sessions to boost customer connection.
• Create community engagement and loyalty through events.
• Step into various roles on the sales floor when needed.
