BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a capable Closing/Assistant Closing Manager to lead club operations, especially during closing shifts. You’ll oversee multiple departments, uphold safety and service standards, and guide team training and onboarding to ensure excellent member experience.

Qualified candidates will have ServSafe certification, retail or perishables experience, and strong leadership capabilities; a high school diploma is required, with a college degree preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in retail, supermarket, or warehouse perishable operations preferred.
• Experience in inventory turnover and waste reduction strategies.
• SERV Safe certification required; high school diploma minimum; college degree preferred.

Responsabilités

• Own end-of-day execution: oversee Recovery, Utility, and Perishable departments and overnight prep.
• Lead by presence during closing hours to observe execution and support performance.
• Maintain GOLD Standards and ensure perishable departments meet quality and freshness targets.
• Coach onboarding and certifications, including ServSafe and forklift training.
