BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a dedicated maintenance/janitorial team member to uphold high safety and sanitation standards across the club. You will gather and return carts, assist with cleaning duties, and support a safe, welcoming environment for members and teammates.

The role emphasizes reliable attendance and adherence to club policies while contributing to a positive member experience through prompt, courteous service and efficient maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.
• Prior maintenance or janitorial experience preferred.
• Prior retail/wholesale experience preferred.
• May be under 18 for some parking lot cart functions; must be 18+ to operate equipment.

Responsabilités

• Maintain cleanliness of all club areas including the sales floor, restrooms and outdoor grounds.
• Gathers and returns carts from the parking lot to the club entrance.
• Restocks maintenance/cleaning supplies and keeps stock areas organized.
• Operates floor scrubber, trash compactor and cardboard baler safely according to safety standards.
• Performs minor building repairs and notifies management when major repairs are needed.
