IXO is seeking a senior architecture coordinator to turn complex coordination problems into rigorous evaluation tasks. Each task combines authorized drawings, documents or site images with a clear question and a reference deliverable. Another qualified reviewer checks the task and answer so the package can distinguish careful professional reasoning from a plausible but incomplete response.

Pay is $50–$65/hr (USD). IXO will agree assignments and schedule before work begins.

Qualifications

• Licensed architect or equivalent with 8+ years producing permit sets.
• At least three years in the relevant seat within US model-code jurisdictions.
• Experience marking up drawing sets in Bluebeam Revu or an equivalent tool.
• Ability to coordinate across disciplines and mentor job captains.
• Experience with set QC, design-change reviews and RFIs.

Tasks and deliverables

• Develop architectural RFI reviews, drawing-set quality checks and technical peer-review exercises.

• Build redline back-checks, design-change reviews and addendum scope exercises.
• Prepare tasks involving as-built documentation, pre-bid scope, drawing-set control and commissioning review.

• Produce marked-up sheets, coordination comments or RFI responses with enough evidence for independent review.

Professional requirements

• You should currently hold, or have recently held, a role responsible for authoring and coordinating permit or construction sets: architect of record, project architect, job captain or design coordination lead.
• A current architecture license is one route. Without a license, you need at least eight years as a project architect or job captain producing permit sets. In either route, at least three years in the relevant seat, a US base and work within US model-code jurisdictions are required. Eight or more years in that seat is preferred.
• You must be able to mark up drawing sets in Bluebeam Revu or an equivalent tool. Experience running set QC, mentoring job captains, maintaining detail standards or reviewing both sides of RFIs is particularly useful. Drafting without set authorship, visualization-only work, decorating and schedule-only project management do not meet this scope.

Engagement

Pay is $50 $65/hr (USD). IXO will agree assignments and schedule before work begins.
