Mistral AI is seeking a Technical Lead, Applied AI to drive the technical strategy and delivery of enterprise AI solutions. You will lead a project team of Applied AI Engineers, acting as the main technical contact from pre-sales to post-implementation, shaping offerings with research, product and engineering partners.

Qualifications

• PhD or Master’s in AI/ML/CS required or equivalent track record.
• 7+ years in AI/ML with 2+ years in technical leadership.
• Proven experience leading teams to deliver complex AI projects.

Responsabilités

• Lead Applied AI engineers and mentor teams on GenAI deployments.
• Guide pre-sales discussions translating customer needs into AI solutions.
• Design complex AI systems: fine-tuning, RAG, agentic workflows, NLP apps.
• Collaborate with product/research/engineering to align roadmaps.
• Hands-on coding for critical project components and reviews.
