GetVocal AI Ltd. is seeking an Applied AI Scientist / Engineer in Paris. The role combines design, development, and optimization of voice AI systems powering enterprise contact centers. The position offers hybrid work with remote-friendly flexibility and collaboration with a fast-growing international team.

As part of the R&D group, you will contribute to state-of-the-art conversational AI, NLP, and speech technologies, translating business needs into scalable solutions for global clients.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python and agentic AI frameworks.
• Strong background in pattern recognition or ML for conversational AI.
• Experience with dialogue systems, NLP, or speech technologies beneficial.
• Ability to work with product, engineering, and operations teams.

The Role:

As an Applied AI Scientist / Engineer at GetVocal AI, you will design, build, and optimize voice AI systems that power next-generation conversational experiences for enterprise contact centers.

This is a full-time, remote-friendly role based in Paris, combining team collaboration with flexibility.

• Maintain and improve existing conversation systems.

Who We're Looking For:

• Python & Agentic AI: Proficiency in Python and agentic frameworks (OpenAI APIs/SDKs).
• Machine Learning: Expertise in Pattern Recognition and applied Machine Learning for conversational AI, NLP, or sequence modeling.
• Conversational AI: Background in conversational AI, speech-to-text, text-to-speech, LLMs, or dialogue systems is highly beneficial.
• Collaboration: Ability to work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Nice to have: Publications at NeurIPS, ICLR, ICML, ACL, EMNLP, NAACL, or EACL.
