Mistral AI is seeking an Applied AI Engineer to help customers adopt its cutting-edge GenAI solutions and tackle complex technical challenges. You will bridge research and real-world enterprise applications, contributing to end-to-end project delivery with a strong customer focus.

In this role you will work closely with researchers and product teams to implement, fine-tune, and scale AI models, APIs, and interfaces for enterprise clients.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and able to communicate with diverse stakeholders.
• 2+ years as a technical individual contributor on AI-based products.
• Experience implementing AI/ML products with APIs, back-end and front-end interfaces.
• Experience fine-tuning LLMs for advanced RAG or agentic use cases.
• Strong understanding of ML and LLM concepts.
• Proficient Python coding skills with good software practices.

Responsabilités

• Deploy production AI use cases with measurable business impact across industries.
• Develop state-of-the-art GenAI applications with customers, from pre-sales through deployment.
• Collaborate with researchers, AI engineers, and product engineers on complex projects including fine-tuning and inference.
• Provide technical guidance during pre-sales calls and explain Mistral technologies to stakeholders.
• Help improve product and model capabilities based on customer feedback.
