Mistral is seeking a Technical Lead, Applied AI to drive technical strategy and delivery of enterprise AI solutions. You will lead Applied AI Engineers and act as the primary technical contact for strategic customers across pre-sales to post-implementation, shaping the future of Mistral’s offerings.

You will bridge cutting-edge AI research with real-world deployments, ensuring robust, scalable solutions aligned with customer needs and Mistral’s roadmap.

Qualifications

• 7/8+ years of AI/ML experience with 2+ years in technical leadership.
• PhD or Master’s in AI/ML/CS.
• Proven ability to lead teams from prototyping to production.

Responsabilités

• Deliver as an IC the critical lines of code for complex projects.
• Lead technical teams of Applied AI Engineers, mentoring and guiding best practices.
• Lead technical discussions during pre-sales, translating customer needs into actionable solutions.
• Design and oversee the implementation of complex AI systems, including fine-tuning and RAG workflows.
• Drive innovation by identifying trends in AI and evaluating new tools.
