Job summary

Deepstreamtech is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join their team in Paris, France. The role involves managing data ingestion, modeling, and creating analytical products while collaborating with stakeholders to define meaningful metrics.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of engineering experience, solid knowledge of data pipelines, and preferably familiarity with S3, Snowflake, Airflow, DBT, and Python. The position offers an opportunity to improve architecture for maximum impact on speed and cost.

What the job involves

• You will join a product delivery team and be responsible for ingesting, modeling, and publishing data to scale our business. You will design and maintain data products, collaborate on success metrics, and ensure interoperability by leveraging a self-service analytics platform and adhering to best practices

• Working closely with product and business stakeholders to define and build meaningful product metrics
,
• Developing analytical products such as data models, dashboards, reports and tooling to enable self-serve reporting and analysis for stakeholders
,
• Improving our architecture (snowflake and dbt) based on what brings the most impact to cost reduction and speed, applying software engineering best practices
,
• Taking ownership of projects from scoping to delivery and adoption, working autonomously
