About the role:

We are currently looking for an Analyst to join our Energy practice in Paris. You will join a dynamic team specialized in the economics of the European power, gas and environment sectors. You will work on both quantitative modelling and regulatory issues in projects all over Europe. We pride ourselves on providing Analysts with an opportunity to make a significant impact from day one. As an Analyst you will become an integral part of the team with the crucial role of helping clients understand how competition works in their industry. You will contribute to cases in a variety of ways, working closely with senior staff to understand the issues that face the client, relating those issues to relevant economic theory, and supporting the analysis with solid and persuasive empirical evidence.

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Quantitative analysis in Excel inter alia using our energy-specific models and using our energy system modelling platforms.
• Preparation of reports and summaries of analysis.
• Active participation in client meetings and conference calls.
• Monitoring project progress.
