Job summary

Quobly is developing cost-competitive universal quantum processors in Grenoble. The Analog RF & IC Design role focuses on architecture, design and implementation of high-frequency circuits, collaborating with R&D teams in a fast-growing startup environment.

The candidate should have an advanced degree in RF/microwave and strong experience in high-frequency RF design, using Keysight ADS or Cadence SpectreRF and EM solvers like HFSS/Momentum/EMX.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in RF/Microwave Engineering or Electromagnetics.
• Significant experience in high-frequency RF design.
• Proficient with Keysight ADS or Cadence SpectreRF and EM solvers (HFSS, Momentum, EMX).

Responsibilities

• Design the RF block (LNA, PA, mixers, VCO/PLL) and RF circuit components.
• Design matching networks for impedance matching.
• Use electromagnetic simulators to model inductors, capacitors, and interconnects at high frequencies.
• Supervise or perform layout to manage parasitics and substrate coupling.
• Maintain signal integrity to preserve qubit coherence.
• Collaborate with researchers and engineers to integrate RF designs into products.
