Job summary

Quobly in Grenoble is building cost-competitive universal quantum processors to tackle intractable problems, leveraging deep ties with CNRS Neel and CEA-Leti.

As Analog RF & IC Designer you will develop high-frequency RF blocks, from LNA and PA to mixers and VCO/PLL, and ensure signal integrity while collaborating with the R&D team.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in RF/Microwave Engineering or Electromagnetics preferred.
• Significant experience in high-frequency RF design.
• Proficient with Keysight ADS, Cadence SpectreRF and EM solvers.
• Analytical mindset and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Design the RF Block including LNA, PA, mixers and VCO/PLL.
• Create matching networks and impedance matching for high-frequency circuits.
• Use EM simulation to model inductors, capacitors and interconnects.
• Supervise or perform layout to manage parasitics and substrate coupling.
• Maintain signal integrity to preserve qubit coherence.
• Design RF circuits using active and passive components.

Analog RF & IC Designer.

As Analog RF & IC Designer,you will be responsible for developing the architecture, design, and implementation of high-frequency circuits.

Technical Challenges :

• You will design the RF Block (High Frequency Block: LNA, PA, Mixers and VCO/PLL
• You will design matching networks (Impedance matching)
• You will use Electromagnetic Simulation (2.5d/3DEM simulators) to model the effects of inductors, capacitors, and interconnects at high frequencies.
• You will supervise or perform the layout to manage parasitic capacitance, inductance, and substrate coupling.
• You will manage the Signal Integrity to preserve qubit coherence
• You will design the RF Circuit, active and passive components

Collaboration:

• Collaborate with talented people in a culture of transparency and autonomy.
• As part of the product team, you'll work closely with the entire R&D team

You’re special Because:

• You hold Master’s degree or PhD (highly preferred) in RF/Microwave Engineering or Electromagnetics.
• You have significant experience in high-frequency RF design
• You 're proficient in the following tools: Keysight ADS or Cadence SpectreRF, EM Solvers (HFSS, Momentum, EMX).
• You have a Analytical mindset, scientific rigor and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team (interacting with physicists, software engineers, and material scientists).
