Alta Ares is seeking a highly skilled Pyrotechnics Engineer to own integration, testing, qualification, and regulatory compliance of pyrotechnic payloads across airborne systems. You will work with Mechanical, Avionics, Systems, and Test teams to ensure safe, reliable integration from design through flight testing and deployment.

This hands-on role combines engineering, testing, certification, and field operations in a fast-moving environment, with opportunities to influence product iterations

Qualifications

• Experience in pyrotechnic or military payload integration.
• Hands-on engineer with hardware and testing proficiency.
• Ability to manage safety-critical documentation and regulatory processes.
• Strong cross-functional communication and collaboration.
• Willingness to operate autonomously in a fast-growing company.

Responsabilités

• Lead integration of pyrotechnic payloads onto airborne platforms.
• Define interfaces between payloads and vehicles.
• Coordinate with engineering teams for successful integration.
• Plan and execute ground and flight tests, analyze results.
