iO Associates, in partnership with a leading space technology company, seeks a Propulsion AIT Engineer to join the team. You will oversee assembly, integration, testing, and customer deployment of propulsion systems, interfacing with engineering, production, and customers across Europe.

The role combines hands-on engineering with customer-facing responsibilities in a fast-paced space environment, supporting internal development programs and customer satellite missions, with flexible salary

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics, or related discipline.
• Experience within satellite AIT (Assembly, Integration & Test) with subsystem integration activities.
• Hands-on engineering capability with complex electro-mechanical systems.
• Familiarity with laboratory equipment, troubleshooting, and hardware debugging.
• Knowledge of spacecraft environmental testing, including TVAC, vibration, and shock.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate technical information to internal and external stakeholders.
• Customer-facing environment experience.
• Knowledge of propulsion systems or spacecraft subsystems.
• Experience managing mechanical and electronic integration constraints.

Responsabilités

• Act as a key interface between engineering, production, and customers to ensure successful integration and qualification.
• Support customers throughout the integration process and provide technical guidance during environmental testing campaigns.
• Design, plan, and execute propulsion and environmental test campaigns on components and systems.
• Analyse test results, interpret data, and prepare technical reports.
• Develop and maintain detailed test procedures, documentation, and validation records.
• Collaborate with internal teams to implement continuous improvements.
• Gather customer feedback and translate lessons learned into product development.
