Back Market invites an AI Quality & Evaluation Intern to join the QA team in Bordeaux for a 6-month, full-time internship (35h/week). You will monitor Fin, review conversations, and work with content, product, data, and engineering teams to drive improvements in AI-driven customer care.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Master 2 in Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or similar engineering discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Comfort with data and anomaly investigation.
• Interest in generative AI, ML, or LLM evaluation.
• Ability to structure and communicate findings in English.
• Curiosity, detail orientation, pragmatism, and comfort with ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Operate and improve quality monitors and scorecards for accuracy, policy compliance, and escalation quality.
• Review conversations to identify false positives/negatives and recurring defects.
• Prepare weekly quality review with key findings, risks, and root causes.
• Analyze Fin’s performance across markets, languages, use cases, and rollout phases.
• Monitor handovers to human agents and customer satisfaction signals.
• Track corrective actions, owners, and validation status.
• Improve documentation and versioning of Fin’s evaluation framework.
• Share actionable feedback with product, engineering, content, and data teams.
