Job summary

Valtech is seeking an eRetail Engineering Manager / AI-Driven Delivery to lead a high-impact factory across France and offshore sites. You will own engineering delivery, drive AI adoption inside engineering, and ensure production reliability for large-scale digital platforms in retail.

The role requires hands-on technical credibility, strong leadership, and bilingual French/English communication. You will report to client partners, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive measurable

Qualifications

Proven track record leading engineering organizations at scale (20+ engineers).
Experience driving AI-assisted development or AI-native engineering practices into standard use.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end engineering delivery for the eRetail factory, including roadmap, code quality, and release predictability.
Manage and grow a distributed engineering org across France, Ukraine and India, including hiring and career development.
Ensure delivery cadence, quality, and reliability meet business and seasonal requirements.
Own the relationship between engineering and Agile Operating Model, Quality & Testing, and Production & Support from an engineering standpoint.
Define and drive the AI adoption roadmap within engineering, including AI-assisted development and refactoring.
Promote AI-native architectures and MLOps practices for eRetail platforms.
Drive CI/CD maturity, test automation, and reduction of technical debt.
Report progress in SteerCos and delivery reviews with concrete mitigation plans.
Directly manage engineering leads and foster an AI-sharing culture across squads.
